Overview


Early Careers: Actuarial Sophomore Mentor Program at Aon provides college sophomores the opportunity to connect with an actuarial advisor to learn about a consulting career in Health, Wealth, Risk, or Reinsurance and to practice real-world scenarios during a virtual discovery program. This mentorship opportunity connects students with professionals and peers and serves as a direct pipeline to our Summer 2027 Actuarial Intern opportunities. Selected mentees may be fast-tracked to a final round interview for consideration for the intern program. While the mentor program is virtual, candidates can indicate location preferences aligned with Summer 2027 internship opportunities.



Program Details



  • Program Dates: January 2026 – April 2026

  • Recruitment Window: November 2025 – January 2026

  • Application Deadline: November 1, 2025

  • Review Process: November – December 2025

  • Program Acceptance: December 2025 – January 2026



Eligibility and Qualifications



  • Education: Preferred majors in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related fields. All majors welcome to apply.

  • Applicants must be current sophomores, graduating December 2027 – June 2028, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

  • Skills: Collaborative, critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, relationship building, and leadership potential.
