Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 26-week travel assignment in Kirkland, Washington with Fusion Medical Staffing.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and monitor patient conditions
• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and mobility
• Provide mobility assistance (repositioning, transfers, ambulation)
• Assist with feeding and meal support for patients with dietary needs
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent CNA experience
• Valid CNA registration in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements

Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; basic PC skills
• Physical abilities: capable of remaining stationary, moving, lifting 50-100 lbs, pushing/pulling, bending
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Technical/motor skills for handling procedures and equipment
• Mental requirements: able to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and work under supervision or independently as needed
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
