Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 16-week travel assignment in Berlin, Vermont. Join our team to provide direct patient care and support to the nursing staff while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and clinical team support.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and monitor patient conditions
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support
• Assist with feeding and meal services as needed
• Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and observations
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent CNA experience
• Valid CNA registration in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions; PC literacy
• Physical ability to stand, move, lift 50-100 lbs, push/pull and bend
• Ability to work with diverse personnel and maintain professionalism
• Fine motor and technical skills for procedures and equipment use
• Ability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines, and work with varying supervision
• Visual acuity and effective communication
