Destiny Healthcare Services Inc. is hiring: CNA in Chicago

Overview

As a CNA here at Destiny, you will assist residents who may be bed bound with a variety of daily living activities in the comfort of her own home — activities such as general housekeeping and laundry tasks; nutritious meal planning and preparation; and grocery shopping, toileting, dressing, transferring and mobility. You will also observe residents' blood pressure and provide companionship, which may include activities such as reading a book together, going for walks, doing crafts, listening to music together, or having a simple conversation.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living in their home environment.
• Perform general housekeeping and laundry tasks; assist with meal planning and preparation; assist with grocery shopping as needed.
• Support toileting, dressing, transferring and mobility needs.
• Observe residents’ blood pressure and report health observations.
• Provide companionship and social engagement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old
• Must pass background check
• Reliable transportation (own vehicle with insurance or reliable means to get to work)
