Compensation and benefits
This part-time in-home care position earns a competitive wage of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience. Day in the life
As a Caregiver / Nursing Assistant, you help seniors stay in their own homes and live with independence and dignity. You do more than just assist with meals, light housekeeping, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and appointments. You provide companionship and socialization as you support them in visiting with friends, attending events, or working on hobbies. You ensure they are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well-nourished, encouraging independence as much as possible. You help ensure their homes are safe environments, reducing the likelihood of accidents and promoting timely reporting of changes or concerns. You provide peace of mind for them and their families.
Studies have shown that those who live at home and retain their independence are happier, healthier, and tend to live longer. We are proud to support seniors through our home care services program.
Qualifications
- Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and insurance
- Vaccinated for Covid-19, in the process of getting vaccinated, or willing to be vaccinated
A valid CNA certification is preferred but not required. Prior in-home care experience is also preferred but not required. Are you respectful, discreet, and honest? Do you have empathy and maintain professional boundaries? Are you reliable, punctual, organized, and able to effectively prioritize tasks? Do you have good communication and interpersonal skills? Are you flexible and patient? If yes, you might be perfect for this part-time in-home care position!
