Base pay range
$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Systems Administrator to implement, manage, and optimize security measures that protect our distribution systems, networks, and sensitive data. This role focuses on securing supply chain platforms, warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has strong IAM experience, a background in distribution or logistics environments, and the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Administration
- Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools (firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS).
- Secure WMS, ERP, and related distribution platforms against cyber threats.
- Supply Chain & Application Security
- Protect inventory, order processing, and logistics systems from unauthorized access.
- Safeguard sensitive vendor and customer data within ERP and WMS environments.
- Access & Identity Management (IAM)
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Secure mobile warehouse devices (RFID scanners, tablets) and IoT integrations.
- Monitor and investigate security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Lead incident response activities and maintain up-to-date playbooks.
- Network & Infrastructure Security
- Implement security controls for distribution centers, including VLANs, VPNs, and secure wireless networks.
- Manage security for IoT devices and edge systems.
- Vulnerability & Risk Management
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and remediation planning.
- Implement encryption, DLP, and backup/disaster recovery protocols.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain security policies, procedures, and audit documentation.
- Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, GDPR, SOC 2, and other applicable standards.
- Security Awareness & Collaboration
- Deliver ongoing security training (KnowBe4) to staff to prevent phishing and social engineering.
- Partner with IT, operations, and vendors to ensure end-to-end supply chain security.
- Physical Security Management
- Oversee camera, alarm, and access control systems (Rhombus, Verkada).
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA.
