Overview

ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. has an immediate opening for a Security Agent at the Dallas-Ft Worth International Airport in Dallas, TX. ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of ICTS Europe and specializes in the provision of security solutions and services, primarily focused on catering, aircraft and cargo screening. ACTS provides nationwide coverage with corporate offices in Chicago and Atlanta and operational centers at more than 30 airports across the United States. ACTS Security Agents are proud of their role in aviation security and have the opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect airline equipment and check for any unauthorized items.
• Screen cargo using equipment/method designated by the customer and according to customer specifications.
• Perform aircraft monitoring, passenger wanding and gate guarding according to customer specifications.
• Observe and monitor unit activity and facility surroundings when not performing inspection/validation duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Report to Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager, depending on unit size.
• Activities overseen by Lead or Senior Lead, depending on unit size.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Range: $16.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• New employees must complete an FBI fingerprint check (SIDA Badge) and a confirmed 10-year background check (10 year listed; 5 year verified)
• Not have been convicted of FAA Disqualifying Crimes
• Ability to bend, push, and lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Hold a valid U.S. driver’s license
• US Citizenship required for certain services
• Must be willing to work in cold temperatures

• Environmental Requirements: Works non-standard hours, evenings, weekends, holidays
• Pre-employment screening: Drug screen, criminal check and/or airport fingerprinting
