POSITION: PART-TIME EVENT SECURITY GUARD

Reports To:

Senior Security/Garage Manager

FLSA Status:

Hourly -- Non Exempt

Summary

Provide security protection to employees, staff, and property. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by ASMGlobal is essential for the successful performance of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provide guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons.
2. Carry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary.
3. Perform foot and vehicle patrols of property. Inspect and report on the facility's compliance with safety and security procedures.
4. Investigate and report incidents including damage/injury to the facility or employees.
5. Ensure POD compliance during patrols.
6. Provide assignments and permits for temporary parking as directed.
7. Issue facility ID badges as directed.
8. Work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

• Requires walking the facility and grounds.
• Primarily works inside and outside, with some exposure to adverse weather and conditions.
• May be exposed to physical confrontations.
• Shift work as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• No felony or violent crime convictions.
• Valid Louisiana driver's license.
• Pass criminal background check.
