Overview

Our client in the Louisville, KY area is seeking a Security Specialist to join their team. This role serves as the "face of the company" in the field, managing multiple projects and ensuring quality assurance and control across various sites. You’ll oversee the proper installation, programming, and testing of security, fire alarm & life safety, and building automation systems.

Base pay range

$40.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and travel between sites to ensure QAQC
• Install, program, and test non-routine systems and equipment
• Troubleshoot and maintain electronic security systems
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure project timelines and standards are met

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a low-voltage role
• Skilled in running, installing, terminating, and splicing wires (CAT5, CAT6, Fiber)
• Experience with Access Control systems (Lenel or Genetec)
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with installation licensing
• Product/Industry certifications: Software House, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Milestone, ONSSI, AXIS
