Location: US:WI:Milwaukee at our Froedtert Hospital facility. This job is ON-SITE. FTE: 1.0. Standard Hours: 40.0. Shift: Shift 3. Schedule details include evenings/nights with holidays and weekends.

Job Summary

The primary function of this position is to staff the 24-hour Security Operations Center (SOC). The SOC handles emergency and non-emergency communications from security staff, hospital staff, law enforcement, visitors, and other emergency services via radio, telephone, computer, email, camera, in-person, or via any other medium. Vital functions include customer service, multi-line phone management, Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) documentation, and effective, timely communication. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience

• Prior security, dispatcher or other relevant experience or education is required.
• Computer-aided Dispatch system experience is preferred.
• Prior dispatcher experience in a mid-sized department / emergency services is preferred.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is required. College is preferred.

Training

ICS training, TERT certification, IAHSS Certification, HAM radio operator Training may be site specific.
