Perks
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases)

Schedule: Monday – Wednesday and Friday: 2pm - 6pm
Primary Responsibilities
- As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, duties may vary by site. This opening is at the global headquarters for a manufacturer based in Rockford, MI. Responsibilities may include:
- Customer Service - provide the highest level of customer service when interacting with employees, visitors, and co-workers.
- Mobile Patrol - Drive the security vehicle around the site, patrolling parking lots and building exteriors.
- Patrolling - Walk the interior and exterior of the various office buildings on site, identifying security, safety, and maintenance issues.
Success Indicators
- Reliability - Report for your shift on time, presentable, and in the prescribed uniform.
- Friendly Personality - Balance outstanding customer service with client policies and enforcing rules.
- Following Company and Client Policies - Read and interpret post guidelines, follow procedures, and complete tasks throughout the shift.
- Use of De-escalation Techniques - Defuse situations through verbal and other communication tactics.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have teacher or receptionist experience.
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No felonies and ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Must pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter.
- Present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
- Willingness to become CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record (less than 3 moving violations and less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years; no major violations).
- Physical Requirements: ability to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, walk long distances, go up/down stairs; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to respond to emergencies.
