What you will be doing
- Installing and servicing physical security systems / platforms, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection, communications, and other low-voltage systems.
- Learning and contributing to technical and project teams.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues.
- Working as a valued team member and as an individual to deliver quality results to customers.
- Executing assigned projects and duties in a timely manner with quality results.
- Working with trades and subcontractors assigned to projects.
What you will bring to the team
- Minimum 1+ years of experience with installation and service of enterprise-level physical security systems and platforms (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion / Burglar, etc.).
- Ability to install devices, headend equipment, cabling, and connect to the network.
- Basic comprehension of mechanical systems, digital circuits, and electrical systems.
- Basic understanding and ability to read and interpret building floor plans and diagrams.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools and learn and use test equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues across various enterprise-level systems.
- Ability to obtain appropriate licensure.
- A two-year degree in Electronics, IT, or applicable subject is desired.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level security systems – installation, programming, and troubleshooting (desired).
- Training/certifications associated with manufacturer’s security systems and networks (desired).
- OSHA 10/30 certification (desired).
Your environment and physical requirements
The physical environment requires working inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. The role may require standing, walking, sitting; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects/tools/controls; reaching with hands and arms; climbing stairs; talking or hearing; using PPE; lifting up to 50 pounds; frequent near-vision tasks for reading and computer use; and handling potentially stressful conditions. Occasional ladder use, outdoor work, and driving may be required.
On-call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours are Monday – Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shifts and weekends depending on project schedules.

Travel 70-80% as necessary to support company and customer needs.
