We are seeking a Security Officer responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees. The role involves interfacing with visitors, staff, physicians, patients, and family members.

Requirements:

1. Six (6) months of hospital experience or experience in Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or a similar occupation. One (1) year of college may substitute for experience.
2. Complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
3. Excellent public relations and customer service skills, with good written and oral communication skills.
4. Possession of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successful completion of the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment.
5. Successful completion of BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
6. Valid Driver’s License (new Georgia residents must obtain a valid Georgia Driver’s License within 90 days of hire).
