Overview

Security Attendant at Great Wolf is a key role dedicated to ensuring the safety of guests, their families, and visitors. Security is trained to respond to any situation to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment. Hiring is immediate with full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling.

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Some locations offer a $1 pay differential for individuals working the overnight shift.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain the security and safety of the hotel, guests, pack members, and their property by providing constant vigilance in and around the hotel premises
  • Fill in security-related assignments
  • Run routine inspections of the hotel premises
  • Act promptly in events that require attention
  • Assist Management in dealing with incidents and produce detailed documentation
  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety rules upheld by the hotel
  • Project a professional image to inspire confidence and trust
  • Remain composed and professional during emotionally charged or stressful situations
  • Provide guest service in every interaction with guests at the resort
  • Help manage risk, and use contingency plans to face uncertainty and adapt to change
  • Sort through conflicting perspectives without taking sides; be aware of personal biases and avoid letting them affect decisions

Basic Qualifications & Skills

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience managing extensive CCTV arrays; comfortable operating CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business demands
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Law enforcement background
  • First responder training

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods

Pay Rate

$17.50 per hour. An employee’s pay position within the salary range is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, contractual agreements, and business needs. The range listed is one component of Great Wolf’s total compensation package, which may include bonuses, Paid Time Off, and other perks.
