Overview
Berman Skin Institute (BSI) is a group of dermatology clinics with eleven medical clinic locations across Northern California, including Los Altos, Cameron Park, Fremont, Placerville, Pleasanton, Roseville, Sacramento, San Francisco, Tracy, Walnut Creek and Yuba City. BSI provides broad and comprehensive service offerings, including medical and surgical dermatology (acne, moles, allergic skin reactions, autoimmune diseases, skin infections, Mohs surgery) and cosmetic dermatology (laser treatments for unwanted hair, sun damage and wrinkles, tattoo removal, red or brown discoloration, varicose/spider veins on legs and face); skin care products and medi-spa/aesthetician treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and HydraFacials. BSI is one of the largest skin laser centers with over 50 lasers on site and other devices for skin and hair conditions, including 4 ARTAS robots for hair transplant.

Position
BSI is looking for a Clinic Operations Manager to join our growing dermatology and cosmetic surgery practices. The right candidate is polished, professional, motivated, emotionally and professionally mature. This position is located at the Fremont Clinic. Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of day-to-day operations for a dermatology clinic
- Ensure high-quality patient care coordination, patient satisfaction and favorable clinical outcomes
- Support, develop and coach clinic leads to manage supplies and inventory, address patient issues, provide appropriate coverage and workflows for individual clinics
- Interview and hire team members as needed
- Determine teamwork schedules
- Address escalated patient issues as needed
- Develop strategic growth and patient retention
Required Qualification (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, science or related field
- Dermatology experience preferred
- 4+ years of operational and business experience
- 2+ years of people-leadership experience
- Healthcare industry experience required, familiarity or knowledge of healthcare preferred (management experience from other site industries will be considered)
- Ability to advise and coach medical staff
- Demonstrated outstanding communications skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
