Job Description: Select and gather products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive at the store for pick up. Provide a positive customer service experience that makes customers want to return to online shopping. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk / In-Store Grocery Shopper: select and gather products for customers\' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality.
• In-Store Grocery Shopper initiates and completes the selection process for customers\' online orders.
• Assemble online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars at pick up.
• Scan and bag orders while following bagging standards.
• Communicate substitutions or exceptions to customers at pick-up.
• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
• Receive customers\' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
• Read and follow directions in the note section; ensure quality and freshness of all items.
• Communicate with customers via portable phone in a professional and timely manner.
• Retrieve and verify each customer\'s order from staging locations and load into customer\'s car.
• Process orders through the POS system and handle substitutions when items are out of stock.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor; inspect equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures and training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve customer and business issues; provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills

Desired Previous Experience

• Experience as a personal shopper or in a production oriented or warehouse environment (stocking shelves, cashier experience)
