Associate, Strategic Finance - Online Subscriptions
LinkedIn is hiring for an Associate in the Monetization Strategic Finance team, focusing on Online Subscription Businesses. The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams, maintaining and analyzing key performance indicators, driving analyses to inform forecast models, and providing strategic analyses and recommendations to stakeholders. This position is hybrid, performed from home and in a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by business needs. The role can be based in San Francisco, Mountain View, or New York City.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for growth within a defined scope and conduct strategic deep-dives to inform business partners.
- Build collaborative relationships with other teams and incorporate input to understand priorities and constraints.
- Communicate forecasts, analyses, and trends to management and cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.
- Synthesise problems and present points of view to support decision-making on issues related to own work in smaller group settings.
- Answer a wide range of complex questions for stakeholders.
- Proactively identify obstacles and work to unblock them with minimal supervision.
- Support performance management by creating, maintaining, and updating complex models and forecasts for assigned metrics.
- Seek and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in the technology industry; basic SQL and data visualization (Power BI, etc.); background in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategy, or an operational/growth role; proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to independently seek information, solve complex problems, mobilize resources, and drive outcomes in dynamic environments; strong analytical skills with experience building financial models; concise and effective communications for presenting and debating recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Compensation & Benefits
LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $95,000 - $128,000. Actual compensation packages are based on factors such as skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and location.
