Overview Aspen Leadership Group is pleased to partner with Aspen Valley Health in the search for a Chief Executive Officer. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be an inspirational, visionary, and highly collaborative leader who believes that a great employee experience drives an exceptional patient experience. The CEO will be a staunch advocate for high-quality, community-based healthcare and provide strategic oversight to the Executive Team to ensure the effective implementation of policies and procedures aligned with the organization's mission and objectives. The CEO will guide short- and long-term strategy, oversee operational and financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence.

About Aspen Valley Health Founded in 1891, Aspen Valley Health is a community-supported, not-for-profit health system serving Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley. AVH provides comprehensive care through its Critical Access Hospital, Level III Trauma Center and network of providers, clinics and services. The hospital is nationally recognized for quality and excellence, offering a full range of services with board certified specialists in 25 fields of medicine, with expanded expertise in orthopaedics and sports medicine through a partnership with The Steadman Clinic. Provide strategic leadership to guide short- and long-term plans in alignment with AVH’s mission and objectives. Oversee operational and financial performance and ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence. Work with the Executive Team to translate strategy into actionable initiatives and drive high-quality patient and employee experiences. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At least ten years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare administration, including at least five years in a senior executive role. A willingness to consider candidates from a broad range of backgrounds if they can contribute to AVH. All applications must include a cover letter and résumé.
