Department of Radiology Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) A Harvard Medical School Affiliate Location: Boston, Massachusetts The Department of Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking an outstanding candidate to lead the Breast Division as Section Chief for HMFP Breast Imaging. The role oversees the clinical service, research and educational missions of the breast imaging program and serves as the radiology physician leader in the integrated Breast Oncology Program. Responsibilities
Oversee and drive the clinical service, research and educational missions of the breast imaging program. Ensure timely, high-quality, and efficient imaging services. Manage resources and physician productivity to optimize operations. Serve as the radiology physician leader in the integrated Breast Oncology Program. Foster close, collaborative relationships with referring services and contribute to multidisciplinary breast care conferences. Lead a breast imaging team that includes HMFP faculty, clinical/research fellows, radiology residents, advanced practitioners, and patient navigators. Collaborate as the future primary liaison with the Breast Oncology multi-specialist team at DFCI as BIDMC-DFCI collaboration progresses. Qualifications
Board-certified in diagnostic radiology and eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Fellowship training in breast imaging required. Experience managing a clinical division or equivalent operational leadership experience. Strong leadership skills with a track record in clinical and research program-building and multispecialty collaboration. Appointment to the Harvard Medical School faculty at a rank commensurate with experience.
