US Political Communications Director (US, Washington)
with extensive Republican policy expertise, a strong record in political communications, and a proven track record of political analysis in Washington. This is a rare opportunity to join a
leading global advisory firm
specialising in policy forecasting and economic strategy. The firm’s client base includes sophisticated U.S. corporations, buy-side investors, and international institutions such as Japanese and Chinese investment banks, all of whom rely on clear, forward-looking analysis of Washington politics and policy. We are particularly interested in engaging with individuals who have: Capitol Hill experience
in senior roles (e.g.,
Communications Director, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, Legislative Director ) and are now seeking to transition into the private sector. Expertise in
political communications, messaging, and analysis , with the ability to translate complex policy developments into compelling, actionable insights for corporate executives and global investors. Strong connections within the
Trump administration, Republican leadership, and Capitol Hill networks , enabling them to provide real-time, insider perspective on political and policy shifts. What You’ll Do Deliver
clear, impactful analysis
connecting Capitol Hill, the White House, regulation, and markets, forecasting political developments and explaining their implications for corporations and investors. Leverage your
communications expertise
to craft messaging and insights that resonate with senior executives, investors, and international clients. Act as a
trusted advisor
to leading U.S. corporations and international investors, providing timely and bespoke perspectives on political developments. Lead client-facing interactions, including
roundtables, webinars, and briefings
with senior corporate executives and investors. Partner across the firm to grow client relationships and deliver high-value political intelligence to a global audience. What We Require 10+ years of experience
advising on U.S. policy, with direct coverage of Capitol Hill, the White House, and Washington policymaking. Direct senior Hill experience
in roles such as Communications Director, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, or Legislative Director. Demonstrated expertise in
political communications and analysis , with the ability to distil and articulate complex policy issues. Strong Republican and Trump administration networks are essential for success in this role. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to influence at the highest levels. Based in Washington, D.C., or with the ability to travel there at short notice.
