Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (Travel) City: Philadelphia State: PA Job Type: Travel Contract Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Speech Language Pathologist Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? Yes Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Days Shift Details: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Certifications: License in Speech-Language Pathology. License in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and/or from the State of New Jersey, or eligible for same, in which case licensure will be obtained within 3 months of initial employment. CCC-SLP - Clin Competence in Speech-Lang - Required. Required : Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Mandatory Experience: Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of licensed experience. Preferred Experience: Experience in pediatric medical-based setting. Education: Teaches within the Department, Hospital, professional community, and non-professional community. Provides consultative services outside of the Hospital setting. Mentors professional observers, students, and clinical fellows. High level of analytical skill in order to work independently to identify and plan for the resolution of problems encountered in clinical and research duties. High level of skill in various assessment procedures pertaining to speech and language skills in the pediatric population.
