About The Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This 15-day opportunity begins Dec 12, 2025, with shifts scheduled throughout December, including both 10a-10p and 10p-10a coverage. Candidates must have recent ER experience in similar-sized facilities and possess current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Proficiency with Epic EMR is required. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Dec 12, 2025 LOA: 15 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule: December Shifts AM (10a-10p): 18, 26, 27 PM (10p-10a): 12, 13, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31 Responsibilities and Duties Provide acute care to patients presenting in the emergency department Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and initiate treatment plans Collaborate with emergency physicians and clinical staff Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate for emergency care Manage a variety of urgent and emergent cases across patient age groups Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR Adhere to facility protocols and industry standards for emergency medicine Additional Information Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Recent ER experience in similar size facilities is mandatory Familiarity with Epic EMR system is required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
