We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 7-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity starts on Dec 14, 2025, and features a series of 10-hour shifts, primarily during daytime and evening hours. The ideal candidate will have recent emergency room experience in similar-sized facilities and hold current ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. This locum position utilizes the Epic EMR system. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Dec 14, 2025 LOA: 7 days Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: Dec 14: 12pm-10pm Dec 23: 12pm-10pm Dec 24: 6am-4pm Dec 25: 6am-4pm and 12pm-10pm Dec 26: 12pm-10pm Dec 29: 12pm-10pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide acute care to patients presenting to the emergency department Perform rapid medical assessments and initiate appropriate interventions Manage trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and general emergency cases Collaborate with nursing staff and other clinicians to ensure timely and effective patient care Document all patient encounters using the Epic EMR system Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and compliance in all clinical activities Additional Information Must have an active North Carolina medical license Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Recent experience in emergency departments of similar size is essential Accepting ABPS, ABFM, and ABIM board certifications Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
