About the Facility Location Top sights in Eastern North Carolina to see include the Biltmore, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and the North Carolina Zoo! About the Clinician's Workday OB call coverage is needed two weekends per month, from Fridays at 5 PM until Mondays at 8 AM, through December 31, 2025. This is at a 25-bed hospital providing 100% inpatient clinical care. The provider must be comfortable with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries and able to respond to the hospital within 20 minutes. The facility has a low-volume, 7-bed Emergency Department, uses Epic EMR, and does not require ICU coverage or code response. Air and ground transport are available for patient transfers when necessary. If the assignment extends beyond six months, the provider must have current ALSO certification, completion of the AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within the last two years, and a current NRP certification.
