About The Position We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Oct 6, 2025, featuring a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM until the last patient around 4:30 PM. The role involves morning team meetings, tumor boards, consults, new and follow-up appointments, with an average daily caseload that includes 2 new consults and 3 to 5 follow-ups. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Oct 6, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Radiation Oncologist Schedule: Monday to Friday First patient at 8:00 AM, last patient around 4:30 PM Responsibilities and Duties Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards. Conduct initial consults and follow-up appointments. Manage an average of 2 new consults and 3-5 follow-ups per day. Perform status checks and review of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT). Handle occasional clinical setups. Oversee treatment for approximately 25-30 patients. Additional Information Must be board certified in Radiation Oncology. Required to have a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification. Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic and Mosaiq.
