Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Deliver and pick up packages with accuracy and courtesy.
• Check shipments for conformance to service standards and assist customers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
• Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to maneuver packages above 50 lbs. with equipment and/or assistance.
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance as customer contact is required.
  • Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
  • Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials per FMCSA guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. Actual starting pay determined by experience, location, and other factors.
• The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
• Pay: $22.10 - $30.65
• Additional Details: Tuesday - Saturday between 2:00pm - 11:30pm.
