Senior Amazon Ads Strategist

We're looking for a talented and driven Senior Amazon PPC Strategist to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role for our Bohemia NY office located on Long Island, you'll take charge of our Amazon advertising campaigns, focusing on boosting sales and maximizing return on investment.

As our Senior Amazon PPC expert, you'll develop and implement effective advertising strategies across multiple channels. This includes managing campaigns for Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Product Display Ads. Your knack for optimization will be crucial in fine-tuning these campaigns to drive sales and ensure we get the best possible results from our advertising spend. Clear communication and reporting will be key as you share insights and results with our executives and team members.

While this position primarily focuses on Amazon Advertising, the scope may evolve to include other ad networks or responsibilities as our business needs shift. We're looking for someone adaptable who can grow with our changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Take direct, hands-on control of our advertising strategy by developing, implementing, and managing PPC campaigns on Amazon, with a focus on Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. Your active involvement will be crucial in driving targeted sales growth and maintaining profitability.
• Create, optimize, and actively manage PPC campaigns across multiple brands and markets, working closely with brand managers. This includes overseeing daily budgets and fine-tuning bids to ensure optimal campaign performance and resource allocation.
• Conduct daily performance reviews of account metrics and individual product SKUs, proactively identifying areas for improvement and maintaining optimal campaign health.
• Lead high-paced meetings with large groups, skillfully navigating Excel spreadsheets, addressing real-time questions, capturing key takeaways, sharing summary and action notes with the team.
• Regularly refresh keyword lists and conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and maintain campaign effectiveness.
• Analyze and predict how PPC advertising affects keyword rankings, continuously monitoring these relationships to improve campaign performance and boost organic visibility.
• Create detailed reports, dig into performance data, and clearly communicate key findings and insights to management teams.
• Quickly investigate and resolve issues that adversely impact performance or cause ads to stop serving before, during, and after normal working hours.
• Assist and support the team on ad hoc projects and other initiatives as the need arises. This will include non-Amazon ad networks.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience leading fast-paced meetings with large groups while quickly navigating excel spreadsheets, fielding questions, and taking notes to be shared with the team.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience independently managing and optimizing Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Product Display Ads. Proven track record of scaling accounts and delivering successful outcomes in diverse market conditions.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach.
• Deep understanding of Amazon's advertising ecosystem, including various PPC tools, optimization software, and campaign structures.
• Sharp analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic decisions.
• Exhibit a sense of urgency in the execution of all job functions and delivery expectations, especially around established deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Has Amazon Advertising certification.
