• Consumer Technology: Build new generation features and products for amazon.com, improving the Customer and Seller experience for billions around the globe. Work on site-wide features such as reviews and recommendations, category-specific software for areas like Pharmacy, Electronics, Digital Software and Video Games, or seller infrastructure. Tackle a variety of complex problems with a range of technologies.
• Operations Technology: Shape the future of transportation planning and execution on a global scale, impacting fulfillment centers, Amazonians, and customers worldwide. Build intelligent software to make transportation more reliable, faster, and less costly, improving the customer experience.

Depending on your experience, interests and business needs, you will own the front-end, back-end, or full-stack design and development of product features, building scale, efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences. We’re looking for software engineers passionate about building end-to-end software solutions, with experience delivering at scale and strong systems design skills. You should have experience delivering within a DevOps delivery model, from scoping requirements and design to development, testing, CI/CD, security, and operational excellence, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product Managers, business stakeholders and other tech teams through launches. You should also be able to communicate with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software features, and present technical designs.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year to $223,600/year, depending on location and other factors.
