Our programmatic advertising platform, the Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP), is becoming increasingly popular with major advertisers and agencies worldwide. We believe we understand e-commerce advertising better than anybody else and want to turn it into a science of its own that all users can leverage for their programmatic advertising.
Responsibilities
- Navigate a high level of ambiguity. Identify key business problems to prioritize and present solutions on behalf of the business.
- Own and manage a team of Programmatic Solutions Consultants, including resource planning and driving success for the team’s customer category.
- Work tactically and strategically to determine the right strategy and where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome.
- Use data to develop new opportunity areas, track program metrics, and influence business decisions.
- Set goals and direction for the team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
- Hire, develop, and lead a team of technical and non-technical Programmatic Solutions Consultants.
- Ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality of a services organization through technology and data.
- Generate and implement big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale; lead cross-functional collaboration to implement them.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, assess risks, mitigate issues, provide escalation management, and make trade-offs.
- Maintain strong communication across diverse stakeholder groups and represent Amazon in meetings with senior executive teams from top customers.
- Lead frontline team enabling trading desk customers to be successful in using the Amazon DSP.
- Participate in client leadership meetings to review certification and support plans, and join strategy calls with Ad Tech Sales stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product and partner teams to review proposals for feature upgrades and road-map prioritization.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss career development and tool rollouts.
- Prepare sections of weekly business reviews with data-driven insights to discuss team wins and areas for improvement.
A day in the life
- Lead the frontline team enabling trading desk customers to be successful in using the Amazon DSP.
- Attend meetings with client leadership to review customer certification and support plans.
- Join strategy calls with Ad Tech Sales stakeholders to determine coverage for accounts.
- Meet with Product and partner teams to review documents proposing feature upgrades to unblock customer needs and influence roadmap prioritization.
- Hold one-on-ones with direct reports to discuss career paths and tool rollouts.
- Prepare weekly business review documents with data-driven insights.

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years professional experience
- 3+ years experience managing direct reports
- 2+ years experience in programmatic advertising
- Experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to establish credibility and influence with technical and non-technical business owners
- Ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment in stressful situations
- Organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience managing direct reports
- Experience communicating goals and strategies to a team
- Technical and operational experience with programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, bid shading, machine learning optimization, ad verification, ad tracking, ad attribution, etc.)
- Experience in e-commerce or online advertising
- Experience in omni-channel marketing, search engine marketing or search engine optimization
- Experience in digital analytics and/or DMP, CDP
- Vertical specialization within programmatic advertising (e.g., entertainment, automotive)
- Experience with ad technology or programmatic advertising products
- Applied knowledge of measurement, statistics and program evaluation
- Master’s/MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
