A large client of Insight Global is seeking a Line Haul Specialist to join their team and serve as a subject matter expert in the design and optimization of global line haul schedules. The position focuses on developing cost-effective, service-driven transportation networks that support the client's commitment to reliable, time-definite delivery. This role contributes to long-term strategic planning, capital asset utilization, and operational efficiency across the global network.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Design and optimize global linehaul schedules for air and ground operations, balancing cost efficiency with service reliability. • Evaluate network scenarios using modeling tools to support strategic and operational planning. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to define aircraft needs and integrate new services. • Support network expansion initiatives, including new markets and hub development. • Analyze long-term capital asset requirements for aircraft and facilities. • Provide expertise in schedule planning systems, modeling, and data analytics. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in airline or linehaul schedule planning, network design, operations research, or transportation modeling. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in schedule modeling and optimization tools. • Proficiency in data analysis, scenario planning, and cost-benefit evaluation. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Familiarity with airline operations, aircraft performance, and logistics systems.
