Responsibilities

• Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
• Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take impressions of the patient\'s teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc.
• Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
• Ask about the patient\'s medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Contribute to delivering high-quality dental care in a kid-friendly and fun environment

Qualifications

• Certifications Needed: CDA or RDA is required. X-ray certification required. Additional certifications such as coronal polishing and sealant polishing are a plus
• Experience: Must have Dental Assistant certification
• Job Type: Full-time

Compensation And Schedule

• Salary: $15.00 per hour, depending on experience. Additional increases for experience
• Bonus Pay: up to $300 additional per month
• Schedule: On-site. Monday-Friday
