Pay Information $1,858 per week About The Position Job Title: Emergency Department RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty; 18 months considered with relevant experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NIH, TNCC Must-Have: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals Description: The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. The department is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats more than 60,000 patients per year. The nurse-to-patient ratio varies from 1:1 for critical patients to 1:3-4 for other patients. Candidates must be willing to work holidays as required and every other weekend. Education requirements include an Associate degree in nursing. Applicants must hold relevant certifications and a valid state license.
