Overview
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist Float to support our client’s medical facility in Ocala, FL 34471. This is a 2-4 month assignment with potential for extension or conversion.
Position Name: Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist
Location: Ocala, FL 34471
Pay rate: $20.27/hr – $22.63/hr
Duration: 4 months contract with possible extension
Shift: Mon-Fri 5:30-2:30 or 6:30-3:30 depending on coverage; every other Saturday. 40 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensure safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
- Create an atmosphere of trust by clearly explaining procedures.
- Follow established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
- Work at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Qualifications
- 3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
- 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
- Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
- Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
- Floaters travel between multiple sites; must have a clean driving record. Mileage reimbursement may be available.
Additional Details
- Floaters are expected to be on time at the site they cover on any given day.
