Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Description
We are seeking skilled phlebotomists to join our team, responsible for drawing patients' blood and performing specimen processing within a doctor's office setting. This role involves collecting and receiving biological specimens, accurately entering them into the company's computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing them to the appropriate analytical areas. The position also includes performing specific analytical tests as assigned, while adhering to the Code of Conduct guidelines.
Responsibilities

Draw and collect blood samples from patients.

Perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting.

Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.

Enter specimen data accurately into the computer system.

Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the correct analytical area.

Perform pre- and post-analytical testing responsibilities.

Conduct specified analytical tests as assigned.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in blood draw and specimen collection.

Experience in laboratory settings and phlebotomy.

Competence in specimen processing and patient care.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

2-3 years of prior pediatric phlebotomy experience is required.

Must be comfortable working independently.

GED or High School Diploma is required.
Work Environment
The position is based in East Mesa. You will be working closely with medical assistants and drawing blood from patients of the physicians. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for career growth, including a career ladder for advancement to a Phlebotomy Technician 2 position after six months, with a 4% pay increase. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr.
