Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Phlebotomist who will float to patient service centers and perform blood draws throughout the day. The primary responsibilities include direct interaction with patients, ensuring safety protocols are followed, sterilizing equipment, and managing specimen collection and data entry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws from start to end of day while managing specimens using safety protocols.
- Identify patients, label, and log test tubes and enter specimen data into the computer system.
- Ensure correct labeling for processing and preparation for testing.
- Work independently and manage interactions with patients of all ages.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
- Phlebotomy certification is not mandatory; medical assistants with high volume blood draw experience are eligible.
- A valid driver's license is necessary due to the floating requirement.
The position requires the ability to float between multiple locations within a designated area.
