Job Title: Receiving Coordinator
Location: Saxonburg, PA

Compensation: $41600 annually

Receiving Specialist Objective
Seeking a Receiving Specialist to manage material flow, inventory control, and logistics operations in a manufacturing environment. This position oversees incoming and outgoing materials, maintains warehouse organization, and supports production requirements while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Examine incoming materials for quality compliance and report discrepancies to relevant personnel
Validate received quantities against documentation including packing slips and purchase orders
Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards to meet regulatory compliance requirements
Research and resolve shipping and receiving issues reported by customers
Retrieve materials from inventory based on production pick lists and deliver to designated work areas
Manage raw material storage, warehouse inventory systems, and finished goods organization
Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintain safe work areas per OSHA standards
Provide backup support to shipping coordination activities as required
Operate 18-foot box truck for delivery operations when needed
Maintain compliance with Hazardous Waste Management protocols
Document driving activities in logbooks according to DOT regulations
Follow all federal and state commercial driving requirements
Execute written procedures and follow detailed work instructions
Address customer inquiries and resolve logistics-related concerns
Requirements
Experience and Certifications:
Minimum 2 years shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred
At least 1 year forklift operation experience required
Successful completion of forklift certification program required
DOT medical card certification required
Commercial driving experience preferred
ERP system experience preferred
Technical Skills:
Computer proficiency and systems navigation capabilities
Inventory management and material handling techniques
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials up to 75 pounds regularly
Tolerance for manufacturing conditions including temperature extremes and noise
Manual dexterity for material handling, tool operation, and equipment use
Physical activities including walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching
Availability for up to 10 hours weekly overtime as needed
Capability to work flexible schedules and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to pass periodic substance screening requirements
Capacity to perform multiple concurrent tasks in fast-paced environment
