Specialist ($18-$18.54/hour):
Pro Action is accepting applications for an Employment Development Specialist with our Prosperous Futures department.
Duties of the Employment Development Specialist include but are not limited to: provide employment case management services to adults including how to use employment services to their advantage assist in resume creating process assist in securing documentation/identification needed to work skill matching and making referrals work with underemployed adults in assessing strengths and needs, in developing a short- and long-term plan for employment.
Requirements
A high school diploma with related experience is required. The ideal candidate will have strong customer services skills and the ability to be empathetic to the situations and needs of clients. They should also have effective listening and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and be able to accurately input customer intake and assessment information into various systems for reporting purposes.
The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license, meeting agency standards per position and consistent, reliable transportation that will allow regular travel in and around the service area.
