Overview

Overnight Security Officer – Full Time – Madison, WI. Base pay range: $21.00/hr. Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 5pm-5am, Wednesday 5pm-11pm. Former Military / Law Enforcement encouraged to apply.

What Your Day May Look Like

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scenes of incidents in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills.
• Customer service background required.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgement and escalation.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background investigation).
