Role: Sr Receptionist & Switchboard Location: Short Hills, NJ Duration: Long term Required Skills: Receptionist Job Description: Driving: No Dress Code: Professional Business Attire; front desk appearance required Vaccine Requirements: None Interview Type: Virtual
This position will support DLA Piper. The role consists of typical receptionist duties including answering the phones, responding to emails, greeting guests, booking and maintaining the conference room schedule, and ordering food/catering for meetings. \This person will be responsible for the security of the office by checking in visitors. There will also be some light administrative tasks required including entering invoices and occasional work within Microsoft Excel. The role is currently temporary to cover for an employee on leave, however, based on the needs of the business there may be opportunity for conversion. They should also have strong email and phone etiquette. Some Microsoft skills are important as well as they will be working with Microsoft Excel. Candidates should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Parking is provided. There is not an easy form of public transportation to this location.

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Mon to Fri)
Responsibilities
Provides exceptional service to the business by greeting/assisting all visitors and answering and transferring incoming calls from all over the United States.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
Greets the public.
Distributes name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.
Issues facility access cards to employees.
Schedules meeting rooms for all.
Answers and transfers calls from all over the United States.
articipates enthusiastically in company and community service events.
Performs light Administrative duties.
Performs PC Support and Administrative duties as needed.
Acts as a model for Vision, Values, and Mission.
Builds professional relationships with customers and other teams.
Responsible for the timely updates of company phone and speed dial lists.
Responsible for issuing of the Company Loaner Cell Phones. Assists Administration or any other team when needed for various tasks (envelope labels, compiling manuals, etc.).
Understands other work areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
