Inspired by nature and fashioned for adventure, Conrad Orlando sits on the 1,100-acre Evermore Orlando Resort bordering Walt Disney World with a 20-acre tropical beach and 8-acre lagoon setting the stage for luxury which is as harmonious as it is captivating. The resort will feature 433 rooms (including 51 suites and 10 family suites), 65,000 square feet of meeting space, a tranquil spa, two 18-hole golf courses, and multiple F&B outlets including 3 restaurants, a cocktail bar, marketplace and in-room dining. The Arrival Ambassador is responsible for managing the arrival and departure processes for resort guests, primarily at the entrance gate, and will also fulfill shifts in the lobby greeting guests and ensuring a seamless experience across guest services. They will serve as a source of information on resort amenities and help maintain the resorts access control systems and processes. What you will be doing Serve as Conrad Orlando Gate & Lobby Arrival Ambassador, ensuring a warm welcome, answering questions, providing directions, and facilitating a seamless experience. Coordinate with the Conrad Orlando front drive team to provide guest details for a personalized welcome. Address guest issues promptly and professionally, escalating matters as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive first impression. Enter and locate guest or work-related information using computers, mobile devices, and other electronic systems. Manage queues during peak arrival/departure times to ensure efficient flow; collaborate with other staff to reduce wait times. Handle emergency situations and provide initial assistance or alert appropriate emergency services; follow resort emergency protocols. Maintain knowledge of the resort layout, offerings, and basic information about the city and surrounding areas. Interact with internal and external customers with patience, tact, and diplomacy; assist guests, visitors, and team members during emergencies. Respond to interruptions and complaints by escalating to the Manager on Duty as needed. Complete shift summaries, daily activity or incident reports; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Maintain positive working relationships and support the team to reach common goals. Support the resort safety program and build relationships with leaders, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders. Support other departments as needed and be flexible to work at various locations based on operations demand. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years experience in a guest service related role. Knowledge of security operations and general protocols. Valid Florida Drivers License with acceptable driving record preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to interact with a wide range of people; strong relationship-building abilities. Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Strong time management; ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a high-paced environment. Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software. Self-starter with the ability to work independently; professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and rotating schedules.
Physical Requirements
Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds. Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically. Able to sit and use a computer for extended periods. Work environment may be indoors or outdoors; subject to environmental conditions. Visually able to review computer screens for extended periods. Repetitive hand motions such as typing or directional movements. Ability to drive a motor vehicle and golf cart.
