The Animal Pad
The Animal Pad all-breed dog rescue is looking to build up our team of dedicated
Vet Care Coordinators ! This volunteer role is an administrative position that can be done from anywhere (with a computer). The Vetting team is a
crucial
part of our organization as we rescue roughly 40-60 dogs a month, which equals A LOT of vetting care to be managed! The Vetting Team works with fosters, adopters, and our vet partners to complete the vetting process for our pups from start to finish. This role involves lots of communication and attention to detail! We work with a rescue software that helps streamline all processes, so we're looking for people that are somewhat tech savvy who are willing and able to learn. Volunteers MUST be able to check and respond to emails and Slack messages daily and must be organized! *MUST have experience working with Excel or Google Sheets, be able to check and respond to emails daily and have dog caretaking experience. Being well-organized is key! The Vetting Coordinator role is strictly remote and 100% computer based, so there is no direct interaction with the dogs. Please note that this position requires the ability to check and respond to emails on a daily basis and a minimum 6-month commitment.* If this is something you would be interested in, please fill out a Volunteer Application on our website: https://theanimalpad.org/volunteer/volunteer-application/ Watch our video to learn more: Get to know The Animal Pad
