Clinical Administrative Assistant – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location

Raleigh Orthopaedic is hiring a Clinical Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for assigned physicians and providers. This role involves working closely with a diverse group of patients, visitors, and internal contacts across all levels of the organization. Our Administrative Team plays an integral role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex administrative work to support physicians and providers
  • Manage high patient, provider, and client contact with professionalism and efficiency
  • Compose, proofread, and edit correspondence, memoranda, and other documentation
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with independent judgment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers
  • Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in writing
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to perform word processing and create visual presentations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred
  • 3–5 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of English grammar and medical terminology (through education or experience)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and demands
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive demeanor and commitment to excellent service
  • Proficiency with computer systems and openness to learning new software

Compensation

  • $18–$22 per hour, commensurate with experience
