Overview

Strong experience on Bigdata Hadoop Testing. Good to have SQL knowledge and able to create and work with databases. Should be versed in Hive, Hbase, Data warehousing concepts. Experience with unit testing tools such as JUnit NUnit TestNG. Good understanding and experience with Test Driven Development. Good understanding and knowledge of ETL methodology and testing. Knowledge with Agile Methodology / Scrum. Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Excellent team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Excellent ability to deliver under pressure. CI/CD automated testing framework development. Open source.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong experience in Bigdata Hadoop testing and related data validation.
• Utilize SQL knowledge to create and work with databases.
• Work with Hive, HBase and data warehousing concepts.
• Engage with unit testing tools such as JUnit, NUnit, and TestNG and apply Test Driven Development practices.
• Understand ETL methodology and perform ETL testing.
• Operate within Agile methodologies/Scrum frameworks.
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
• Contribute to CI/CD automated testing framework development and participate in open source initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Hadoop-based big data testing.
• SQL knowledge and ability to create and work with databases.
• Proficiency with Hive and HBase; understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with unit testing tools: JUnit, NUnit, TestNG; familiarity with Test Driven Development.
• Knowledge of ETL testing methodologies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies / Scrum.
• Excellent problem solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Team player with ability to work with multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
• Ability to contribute to CI/CD automated testing framework development and engage with open source.
