Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our QA team, focusing on account management, payments, and related workflows across multiple sports betting applications. This mid-level role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of transactional systems and user account flows, who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment and is passionate about delivering seamless user experiences.

Any contractors in NJ or NY or Las Vegas will have to come to the office 1 or 2 times weekly.

Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for account-related features including registration, login, KYC verification, account settings, and user preferences.
  • Test payment workflows such as deposits, withdrawals, transaction history, and third-party payment integrations.
  • Validate cross-application workflows and ensure consistent behavior across web and native apps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for new features and releases.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and responsible gaming protocols related to user accounts and financial transactions.
  • Be the owner of your test suite. Actively monitor the results of your tests and communicate out issues regularly.
  • Ensure the developers receive fast feedback on the test results of their changes.
  • Proactively identify risks, advocate for testing best practices, and address gaps in test coverage.
  • Raise defects and advocate for their resolution in team triage sessions.
  • Participate in engineering discussions and contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable, testable systems.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in manual QA testing, preferably in fintech, gaming, or sports betting domains.
  • Solid understanding of account management workflows, including user authentication, profile updates, and security features.
  • Experience testing payment systems, including card payments, e-wallets, and banking APIs.
  • Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., Zephyr).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with sports betting platforms or regulated gaming environments.
  • Understanding of KYC/AML processes, and responsible gaming practices.
