About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Microsoft Project Scheduler with a current Top Secret Clearance to support a federal program near Washington, D.C.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), scheduling best practices, and project controls to support large-scale federal initiatives.
This is a mostly remote position with occasional travel to the D.C. area, offering flexibility while contributing to impactful work in support of national missions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Microsoft Project
Perform schedule analysis, baseline management, and critical path identification
Ensure compliance with project planning standards and contractual requirements
Support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technical leads, and government stakeholders
Support program reviews, audits, and briefings with accurate and timely scheduling data
Participate in risk management and resource loading activities
Requirements
Active Top Secret Clearance (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in a federal or defense environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Project (desktop and/or online)
Strong experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-748 EVM standards is a plus
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
