Companionship Volunteers Needed

Gentiva Hospice is looking for Volunteers (ages 18 and up) to help provide support to Patient's with life limiting conditions and their caregivers. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients Provide respite ( sitting with patient) while the caregiver run errands or go to appointments Share a story/Listen Hold a hand Run errands Make a phone call You choose how you want to serve and how often. NO Medical experience is needed as volunteers DO NOT perform nursing duties or dispense medication.
