Our client is seeking an experienced
Azure Cloud Engineer
to join their dynamic infrastructure team. This role requires a strong Linux foundation with proven expertise in managing complex, multi-cloud environments, particularly for critical systems. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, NY.
Azure Cloud Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, implement, and support scalable cloud solutions across Azure (50%), GCP (30%), and AWS (20%). Manage and maintain Linux-based servers, with a focus on critical market data feed infrastructure in a predominantly Windows environment. Optimize cloud resource utilization, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business applications and cloud migrations. Provide expert troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and rapid solutions for production issues. Document architecture, configurations, and operational processes to ensure best practices and knowledge sharing. Azure Cloud Engineer's Qualifications and Skills:
At least 5 years of experience working in a multi-cloud environment (Azure, GCP, AWS). Strong Linux engineering background, especially in managing critical, high-performance systems. Hands-on expertise in Azure cloud services, with working knowledge of GCP and AWS. Ability to deliver solutions without heavy reliance on extended research or trial-and-error approaches. Familiarity with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. Finance industry experience strongly preferred, but not required.
