Job Requirements
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 1. Visually check parts and units for proper surface preparation and prepare surfaces as necessary to ensure proper adhesion of paints and covering. 2. Mask off units as necessary. 3. Mix paints to proper viscosity for spraying. 4. Fill spray tanks; adjust spray equipment, air pressures, etc. and apply paints to obtain required finish, coverage and economic utilization of materials. 5. May strip and refinish or blend coverages, mix and match colors, etc. 6. Clean and maintain equipment and spray booth in a clean and safe operating condition. 7. Perform related duties as required such as position or move units and parts. 8. Grind or clean and patch surfaces, sand units, etc. 9. May do brush or roller painting. 10. Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures. 11. Comply with all safety regulations. Read work orders to determine production specifications or information. Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment. Clean and maintain equipment, using hand tools.
