Nucor Steel Lexington is seeking to assemble a hiring pool of qualified applicants for semi-skilled production and support occupations. These jobs do not require prior manufacturing experience and all necessary training will be provided on the job. Some roles may require moderate to heavy lifting and can be physically demanding. We are looking for candidates who are willing to work any shift and are committed to a drug-free environment.

• Enter and process applications for semi-skilled production and support roles.
• Participate in on-the-job training with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and housekeeping.
• Perform essential job duties with the ability to lift and handle materials as required.
• Work any shift and maintain a drug-free environment.
• Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and standards at all times.

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required; training provided on the job.
• Ability to communicate in English is an important safety requirement; some portions of the process may be offered in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and to perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
