Resolution Think, LLC is recruiting a skilled Strength and Conditioning Coach (SCC) to join the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) Human Performance Team (HPT) in support of the US Army's soldier readiness and well-being initiative. The SCC will develop, implement, and oversee strength and conditioning programs to enhance physical performance and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries. The role supports soldiers at Brigade (BDE), Battalion (BN), and Company levels. Location: Fort Huachuca, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with soldiers at the Brigade, Battalion, and Company levels to improve individual and team performance.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee strength and conditioning training programs that are compliant with NSCA CSCS or CSCCA SCCC practices, supporting enhanced soldier physical performance and reduced MSK injury risk. Collaborate with other H2F team members for a holistic approach to readiness and well-being.
  • Develop training programs for soldiers with physical limitations in collaboration with medical authorities. Provide guidance on exercise techniques, injury prevention, and recovery methods.
  • Ensure program quality by adhering to guidelines from the Brigade Performance Director (BDE PD) and maintaining industry standards.
  • Participate in meetings with the BDE PD and H2F Performance Team to discuss programs and progression.
  • Document and monitor Soldier/unit progression and suggest improvements to the H2F System.
  • Manage equipment operations and report deficiencies to the BDE PD.
  • Support the Lead SCC in developing and managing strength and conditioning programs.
  • Maintain communication with BDE, BN, and Company leadership.
  • Implement and manage physical performance optimization programs aligned with unit training schedules and cultural norms.
  • Conduct assessments to identify improvement areas and tailor programs to soldier needs.
  • Develop programs in accordance with FM 7-22 Holistic Health and Fitness standards. Submit proposed programs for approval and oversee implementation.
  • Ensure educational and conditioning services align with the H2F Performance Team’s offerings.
  • Mentor and train unit fitness leaders and the H2F Integrator.
  • Guide Soldiers and leadership on injury mitigation and conditioning.
  • Refer soldiers with potential medical issues to appropriate healthcare services.
  • Collect, document, and report performance data per BDE PD instructions.
  • Observe and support specific training events and coordinate facility scheduling for approved activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field. Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years of relevant SCC work experience within the last five (5) years; internship or graduate experience can count toward up to one year.
  • Citizenship: U.S. citizenship (copy of birth certificate or naturalization papers).
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities and systems.

Credentialing:

  • Current physical and immunizations; Certification from NSCA as CSCS or CSCCA as SCCC. BLS/CPR with AED certification from AHA or Red Cross.
